Money Talks
There are a few articles in British Columbia major newspapers about the appropriateness of private health care, and providers of private services justify their behavior. However, our Canada Health Act states, that "all insured residents are entitled to the SAME [emphasis mine] level of health care," aka UNIVERSALITY. This means that those who have the means of jumping the line should not do it. If they do, they are getting better health care. Simple and clear. Proponents of discriminatory/two tiered health care can define health services in whatever manner they choose, including giving personalized interpretations and analysis of the Canada Health Act. It is a free country, EH?
