Some tell us Paget's can start on its own, some others tell us a few rogue cells from the original in-situ breast cancer travel to the nipple. Still other researchers are not so sure. Medical Law
In a sense, law is an important ammunition, an arsenal for the rights of the patient and his/her family.
I found out the hard way that the local College of Physicians and Surgeons is mandated by our provincial legislature to safeguard patient rights. Even the Ontario based Medical Protective Association must respect the Charter of rights when discussing medical consent.
